Overview
One of the oldest rocket ranges on Earth, established for aeronautical research in 1945. Antares cargo rockets flew to the space station from here, and Rocket Lab built its Electron pad LC-2 beside them. Thousands of sounding rockets and missile tests have flown from this Virginia barrier island.
