Overview
Home of the Delta rocket for half a century, LC-17 launched Thor missiles and then Delta rockets carrying probes and satellites, including the Spirit and Opportunity Mars rovers in 2003. The GRAIL lunar orbiters were its final mission in 2011, and its two service towers were demolished in 2018.
