Overview
An interforce test range on the east coast of Sardinia near Perdasdefogu, the main Italian site for rocket and missile trials. Sounding rockets from Quirra supported Italian upper atmosphere research in the early space age, and the range continues to host weapons tests over the Tyrrhenian Sea.
