Overview
The first private spaceport in Japan, on the Kii peninsula in Wakayama prefecture, built by Space One for its Kairos solid fuel rocket. The first Kairos launch in March 2024 exploded seconds after liftoff, and a second attempt in December 2024 was also terminated in flight.
